NewsNovember 17th, 2006 - Fall Initiation 2006 On Friday night, the brothers of the Upsilon Chapter
initiated seven new brothers into the tradition of Zeta Psi at
Carolina. The new brothers are: November 11th, 2006 - Robert Menendez Sr., Father of Brother Robert Menendez Jr. is re-elected to the United States Senate On Tuesday evening, the brothers of Upsilon Chapter congratulated brother Rob for helping his father achieve re-election to the United States Senate. Rob had taken a leave from the university during the fall semester to help the campaign along with his sister, Alicia. We offer our congratulations to Senator Menendez and welcome Rob back to Chapel Hill. January 23, 2006 - Six Additional Freshmen Accept Spring Bids. On Monday evening, six freshmen accepted spring bids and became new members of the Upsilon Chapter of Zeta Psi. We are very pleased with this extremely successful spring rush, which brings our total number of new members for this school year to thirteen. The new young men are: November 12th, 2005 - Parents' Cocktail On Saturday night, the brothers of Zeta Psi welcomed parents of all the undergraduate brothers to Chapel Hill for a Parents' Cocktail. We had dinner at the Carolina Inn, followed by a reception back at the House. The event was well-attended and everyone present enjoyed the opportunity to re-connect with parents and brothers. November 11th, 2005 -Fall Initiation 2005 On Friday night, the brothers of the Upsilon Chapter
initiated seven new brothers into the tradition of Zeta Psi at
Carolina. The new brothers are: May 17th, 2005 - Charles Gillespie leaves for Entrepreneurial Internship in Thailand. Brother Charles Gillespie left today for an eight week internship with Thai software development company, Puumsoft Co., Ltd. Puumsoft has spent the last few years developing their performance management software, COACH. The internship, arranged by the Kenan Institute for Free Enterprise, illustrates the success of the institute's initiatives to grow its presence in Asia. Charles is one of the first participants in UNC's new Entrepreneurship Minor. The minor requires all students to complete an eight week entrepreneurial internship with a faculty supervisor. A grant from the Kauffman Foundation to develop entrepreneurship at UNC will cover all of Charles' expenses. For more information, check out Charles' newest project about Asian Handicap Soccer. March 4th, 2005 - Spring Initiation 2005 On Friday night, the brothers of Zeta Psi were proud to initiate Louis Humboldt Asbury IV, of Charlotte, into the brotherhood of Zeta Psi at Carolina. Louis is a transfer student, and we know his experience and talents will greatly complement the undergraduate brotherhood. November 12th, 2004 - Parents' & Alumni Cocktail On Saturday night, the brothers of Zeta Psi welcomed parents and alumni to the House for a Parents' and Alumni Cocktail. Pictures from the cocktail can be found under the “photos” section of the website. When all was said and done, parents, alumni, and brothers enjoyed a great evening of friendship, music, and the opportunity to continue building the Zete family.
